There is a new casino hotel close to the airport that looked interesting, the Diamond Desert on Nogales Highway. Price was reasonable, so we thought we would try it. Nice place. We walked into the casino and I was surprised to see an enclosed area that was for non-smokers. First time I had seen this. I wouldn't dream of shooing them outside and denying them the right to enjoy their gaming, so be sure if you do put them outside, have a couple of tables or slot machines there too. ;-)<BR/><BR/>Where we are currently located, we're within driving distance of 3 casinos - two which allow smoking but also have large non smoking areas and one which is completely non smoking. At the non smoking casino, the smokers go outside and congregate near the door to have their smoke. People entering walk through a cloud. I fail to see how this is better than having an excellent filtering system and seperate smoking/non-smoking areas. <BR/><BR/>Just FYI, we no longer frequent the non-smoking casino, but it's *almost* as much because of the slot/gaming choices as it is because I smoke.
